Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support the distribution center and us. The Lord has been good to us during our transition back to America after six years in Mexico.

We are excited to announce that at the end of January, we will take a group from our church here in Indiana to Guadalajara, Mexico, to get the Distribution Center started officially! Lots of prayer and planning have been put into this. We are very excited to get things moving forward and see what God will do.

Please pray for us as we travel down to Mexico from Jan. 22-27 to get everything organized and started! There will be many pictures and videos as we travel and get things going. God bless!

Dear Praying Friends,

First of all, I want to thank all of you who have been so faithful in supporting us over the years! We have officially made it to Indiana and are settling in! Second I want to apologize to some of you. There was some confusion and miscommunication regarding our support last month. I know there were several of you who wanted to continue to support us for a few months after we got back to the states to help us with our transition. However, last month's checks were sent back to you. This is my fault. If you would like to resend those, you can send them to 1205 W 15th St Muncie In, 47302, and just make it directly out to Trent Granger. Again I am so sorry for that confusion.

Many of you have already asked about continuing support for the distribution center we are starting in Mexico. While we decided it would be best to come back to the states due to my daughter's health, we still have a big heart for Mexico and wish to see God's Word spread all over Mexico! So we will be starting the distribution center there in Guadalajara and still need support. How can you be a part?

  • If you wish to continue to send your support as usual to us to help with this, you can now send your support Checks to Solid Rock Baptist Church 6509 S. State Road 67, Pendleton, IN 46064. You can make the check out to Solid Rock Baptist church and in the memo put Distribution center. All support given for this will go 100% toward the distribution center!

  • If you feel your dollars would be better invested in other ministries, we completely understand and want to thank you for all the years of support you have sent to us! There will be Mexican people in Heaven because you gave! We thank you!

  • Another option we would like to off for those of you who do not wish to continue monthly support but would still like to be a part of what is going on in Mexico would be an occasional donation. You can keep in contact with us and when we have a big need you can give whatever the Lord lays on your heart!

We look forward to many, many more years of service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! If you and your church would be interested in taking a mission trip to Mexico, please feel free to contact me!

We would like to start putting together missions trips with groups down into Mexico. If you are interested, we would be happy to be your guides and translators!

Again I want to thank you all so much for your faithfulness in supporting us for the six years we were on the Mission Field. And thank you for all the prayers that went up for us and still are going up on our behalf! you all truly are a blessing to us! God bless

Dear Praying Friends,

What a mighty God we serve! Several months ago, if you remember, I asked you to pray for a

man named Giovanni. I met him and gave him a New Testament with my contact information

inside. Last month, he called me crying for help with his alcohol addiction. I told him I knew

someone that could help and wanted to introduce them. So we went to his house and met his

family, and after about an hour of sharing the Gospel with him, he prayed and cried out to God

to save him! It was a great thing to watch God work! Please pray God will continue to work in

his life.

We have truly been blessed to be used by God in Mexico. We have given Him six years of our

lives, our entire marriage, and both our children have been born here! We have seen two

churches started, and many people saved and baptized while serving the King!

Our motto has always been that we will serve in a place until God moves us or until we die. The

time has come, and God has decided to move us. Lord willing, we will be moving back to the

States and begin working in a church in Indiana by July.

God has given us a great skill set, and we plan on using these skills for His glory. The United

States is the second-largest Spanish-speaking country in the world, behind Mexico. We plan to

start a Spanish church and help our local English speaking church in Indy. Indiana has a

substantial Spanish-speaking population with very few Solid bible-believing Spanish churches.

We covet your prayers for us in this transition. If you have any questions, please call or email

me. While this was a hard decision to make, we know this is God's will for our lives after much

prayer and counsel! Thank you all for your faithful prayers and support.

Dear Praying Friends,

We are so blessed to serve a living God and have his word to guide us! Last month was an excellent month for us! We have had a great time serving our God here in Mexico, and we are excited to see what God has planned for us this next month.

We were able to take our young people to a youth conference about an hour from our church. As a result, we could meet other like-minded people and worship our God together! It was a great experience!

I was even able to play a game of soccer. It was all the Pastors versus the winning boy's team. Maybe the young people went a little easy on us, and we won. However, my body didn't feel like I had won after the game. It felt more like I was a dean man walking, haha! But we all had a great time, and the young people could hear great preaching and be moved by the Spirit!

God also gave me the opportunity to visit a rehabilitation center for men. There I was able to talk to several men and pray with them! It was a different experience for sure! We were able to supply Bibles to them as well as some other rehab centers!

We continue to go out into the streets and homes of the people here and share the Gospel, and we have had a good response. So please pray the Gospel will continue to work on the hearts of the lost, that they will receive Christ as Savior and that the Gospel will continue to work to motivate the saved to be disciple-makers!

We thank you all for your continued prayers and support! Please know we pray for you all regularly that the Word of the Lord will continue to have free reign with you there in America!

Dear Praying Friends,

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you. 2 Thess. 3:1. This is really our greatest prayer request, and we know many of you pray this for us regularly. We are very grateful for that!

The past month has been a great month for us here in Mexico. Most of Mexico now is in the green, which means we can return to full capacity in all our normal ministerial activities and our personal. However, All stores and indoor functions require us to wear masks.

We were able to have our Spanish teacher and her husband come down from Monterrey and spend a weekend with us. They were able to minister to our people while they were here. What a blessing it is to have good solid friends in the ministry!

Also, Jessica (our Spanish teacher) asked Stephanie to help her with her online ministry Piedras Preciosas to help encourage ladies of all ages to seek God and grow closer to him. Steph will be helping on the Spanish side and heading up the English content. They started a podcast. As of right now, there is only a Spanish episode, but there will be English ones to come for those of you who don't speak Spanish. The podcast is called "Piedras Preciosas Oficial."

The Lord is blessing as far as spreading the gospel is concerned. I talked to a lady the other day, and after I shared the Gospel with her, I asked if she had ever heard this and she said she had never heard the gospel like that before. Please pray for her that the Lord will continue to work on her heart and she would repent and trust the Savior for her Salvation!

Thank you all once again for your continued prayers and support! God is doing great things and we are glad to be partners with you to get the Gospel to Mexico!

Dear praying friends,

God has given us a great start to this new year. While we still face some restrictions due to COVID, God continues to bless, and we continue to follow him however and wherever he leads us!

In our last newsletter, we ask you to pray for a young man named César for salvation. His mother and siblings are members of our church, but he doesn't come. I spent an hour on evening sharing the Gospel with him, but he didn't get saved at that time.

He spent the next couple of weeks reading the book of John and asking his mother questions. Well, one evening, the Lord did an amazing work, and he got saved in his room.

I had the privilege of baptizing him and now begins the discipleship process. Please pray God will continue to work in his life and César will grow into the man God wants him to be!

We also were able to be a blessing to another missionary about an hour from us and help supply them with some bible and tracts for their new church plant! They called and asked us if we had any extra bibles we could spare. However, we didn't have many to spare, but we were able to give them what we could, and now they have some material to get the Gospel to another small town with no gospel witness!

A lady has been coming to our church since very early on, but her husband has never come. He had caught COVID, and the family was terrified for his life. Before he had gotten sick, I had the opportunity to share the Gospel with him, and he was very kind to me. After he had been ill, I came to his house and prayed with him, and his family and God began to do physical and spiritual work in him. He is recovering quickly and has said he will be coming to a service with us as soon as possible. I would like to believe it was because we were the only ones who were brave enough to go and visit him in his sickened condition. The Catholics were too afraid due to covid to go and see them. Please pray for Saúl that God will work on his heart about salvation, and he will get saved and keep his promise to come to church with us!

Thank you all so much for your faithful prayers and support. We pray for you all often and know that without your help, we could not do what we are doing. Like someone once said, "Either you are the one going down the well, or you are the one holding the ropes for someone else, but either way, you both are going to have scares."

When we get to heaven, we will see the depth and significance of those scares we have! All that we do here is fruit to your account as well!

Again thank you, thank you, thank you! We love and appreciate every single one of our partners. God bless you all!

New Year New Opportunities

Dear praying friends, I hope all of you had a blessed Christmas and New Year. For us, 2021 flew by! I’m not sure how you felt, but we looked back on the year and saw we had accomplished a lot, but the time passed so quickly! We were able to see souls saved, people baptized, a church handed over to a national, and got another church started in the second-largest city in Mexico! We are very excited to see what the Lord will do here in Guadalajara this year! Regardless of what the world throws our way, we can say that God is still good, and he never changes! I was out making some visits yesterday when I had the opportunity to speak with a young name by the name of Ceaser. He is 23 and has been battening with addiction problems. I sat down with him for about an hour and, as clearly as possible, shared the Gospel with him! I could see the Lord working in his heart by the expressions on his face! Please pray for this young man that God will continue to work on his heart! I will be making follow-up visits with him to answer any questions he may have, but my prayer is that He will see his need for a Savior and get saved! Spurgeon is doing very well, and Stephanie has made almost a full recovery. Of course, she still has a tiny bit of pain and discomfort from time to time, but she is doing so much better! Thank you all so much for your faithful prayers and support; they are very much appreciated! Thank you all again, and God bless! Unto the Furtherance of the Gospel, The Granger family

Dear Praying Friends,

Can you believe another year has flown past us? I honestly believe that time goes faster the older I get! However, serving the Lord also makes the time that much sweeter.

Our church plant here in Guadalajara is doing great! We continue to teach the people here the word of God and share the Gospel with the lost! Just the other day, I was at a small store that I regularly went to and got to share the Gospel with one of the men there. I have been building a relationship. Please pray as I continue to witness to him that he will receive the truth of the Gospel and get saved!

We have been able to find a house in the pueblo where our church is, and Lord willing, we will be able to move in next week. First, however, we need to save some money to put doors in the house! As of right now, there are no doors in any of the rooms. But we are confident God will provide

This move gives us a better place for the church to meet until we can buy some property and build a building for our church. We have raised a little over $5,000, and our goal is $10,000. This will allow us to buy the property, which is the first step. We are confident that God will provide all the funds needed in his timing!

Thank you all for your prayers for Stephanie and little Spurgeon. He was born on Gabriella's and my birthday on Dec. 1st at 1:40 pm. He weighed 6.3 lbs and was 19.6 in long! We are in Love, and Gabriella loves him to pieces! He and Stephanie are doing well. Please pray for Steph as she continues to recover from the c-section! But praise be to God everyone is healthy!

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. God bless you all!

Dear Praying Friends,

Matt. 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations (make disciples)..." This has been our full-time job while here on the mission field, and we love it! We have been here in Guadalajara for almost two months now, and God has been blessing us like crazy!

I have made several visits with people in the community, meeting with them at their homes. It has been amazing to see the people's response not only to us as foreigners but also to the Gospel! Something that I have been doing has been handing out tracts at a stoplight near our home. I have been able to put the Gospel in the hands of about 300 people a week by doing this! What an amazing God we serve!

As you know, we have been praying for the funds to purchase a property to have a permanent place for our church to meet. Also, with land, we will eventually be able to build a building! We need about $10,000 to purchase the land. One of our supporting churches has donated to the ministry $5,000 to buy land! We are so grateful, and our church shouted with joy when we told them the news! So please pray the Lord will supply the other $5,000 needed to get this land!

Would you please continue to pray for Stephanie and Spurgeon? The Doctor told us that the umbilical cord is very close to the baby's neck. There is no need for worry now because the umbilical cord is not around his neck, just something we need to pray about and keep an eye on. Other than that, he is growing and healthy. The Doctor said he is going to be a very tall boy! (like his dad).

Again thank you all for your faithful prayers and support. You are in our prayers always!

Dear praying friends,

We serve a living God, do we not? I want to say thank you all for your prayers for our move here to Guadalajara. We have hit the ground running from the very first Sunday we moved here! God has blessed us already! We have been able to start holding regular services on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening! With an average of 20-30 people in every service!

I don't fully understand how God is doing all this but friends, let me guarantee you that he is working! I have been able to make several visits already to folks who have visited the church, we have seen souls saved and people we didn't think would even step foot in a "Christian church" become some who have been the most faithful!

We have already begun to look for property to start building a building so we can have a place of our own! There is a place we have found that would be perfect for us at the front of the community. It is a nice piece of land that we could use to grow for several years. The cost of the land and all the paperwork is about $10,000. So please pray with us that God would provide this as soon as he wills so we can begin building a church building!

Stephanie is doing very well with her pregnancy. We are looking for a good doctor and hospital to have the baby at. So please pray we can find the right place! It's hard to believe that Spurgeon will be in only 3 months!

Thank you all for your faithful prayers and support! We are praying for you all and that the Gospel will be proclaimed there in America through you! God bless.

We have so much to share with you this month so get ready for some information overload! First I want to say thank you for praying for Stephanie and her pregnancy. If you follow us on social media or our YouTube Channel you know that we are having a baby boy! Spurgeon Elliot Granger!

The crazy thing is that his due date is the same due date we had for Gabriella's. So there is a possibility that we will have three birthdays all on December 1st. Mine, Gabriella's, and possibly now, Spurgeon´s! Crazy! We are excited for December!

I also want to thank you for your prayers concerning a national pastor to take over the church in Zacatecas, with the goal to devote our full time and energy to the mission that we started in Guadalajara. We are rejoicing to report. God has answered your prayers! We have found a national pastor! Our church in Zacatecas will continue under the leadership of José. He has been trained in a local Bible institute in the city next to us. August 1, will be our first service with him and we will be handing the ministry over to him. Please pray for this church as it continues to reach this area for Christ!

Please pray for us as we make the transition to move to Guadalajara now, to plant our second church! We are so excited to be fulfilling the mission God has called us to do in Mexico! Spreading the glorious Gospel, planting churches, and training the people in the ways of Christ! We appreciate all your prayers! Please know we are praying for you as well!

Dear Praying Friends,

Wow, June was a crazy busy month for us! It was one of the busiest months we have had in a while! It started with a childhood friend of Stephanie coming for the whole month. It is a blessing for people to be able to come and visit us again after a crazy year like 2020!

We were able to make a trip to the border and get our mail as well as all of the Bibles that many of you helped purchase! What a blessing! Thank you, thank you to each and every one of you who gave. We were able to obtain 300 Bibles. We have already given many of them away! To God be the glory!

We also had a friend of mine who is an evangelist here in Mexico come and help us for a weekend. We had bible clubs and had 79 people come out to hear the Gospel! On Sunday, our church was packed with visitors, and we even have been able to start a bible study with a family that came! Please pray for Laura and Hugo that they will get saved and continue to grow!

We were also able to make another trip to Guadalajara and officially get a mission started there. We will continue (Lord willing) to make a visit once a month as well as Livestream preaching for them once a week. Please pray the Lord would send a national to our church in Zacatecas so we can hand it over and plant more churches here on the mission field!

Thank you all again for all your faithful prayers and support! Please know that you all are in our prayers as well! God bless!

Dear Praying Friends,

We serve a God who is great and good! Last month God did some amazing things! We are so blessed to be called by the King of kings to serve Him here on the mission field!

As you know we have been working on getting a church started In Guadalajara Mexico. Currently, we are going down there once a month and holding services. We are praying for a national to take over the church here in Zacatecas so we can focus more time in Guadalajara. But we want to make sure it is all in the timing of the Lord!

Last month we were able to go to Guadalajara and hold a baptismal service for all the young people who trusted Christ during the bible clubs. It was such a blessing to see the six young people get baptized. During the service, there was a lady named Denise who trusted Christ and wanted to get baptized as well! What a blessing to see her desire to obey Christ!

We also have a HUGE announcement to make! If you follow us on social media you may already know. In December we are expecting baby number two! Steph is praying for another girl and me for a boy. However, we will be happy with whatever gender the Lord blesses us with!

Please pray for Denise and the young people that they will grow in their newfound faith and that we would be able to get a church planted there as soon as possible, and for Steph as she carries this precious life! Thank you all and God bless!

Dear Praying Friends,

We had another amazing month here in Mexico! We are so blessed to be called to serve our Lord and King Jesus on the mission field!

Last month we had our graduation in Zacatecas for the young people who finished the 12-week discipleship course! We had a total of 4 graduates. We gave away a bike to the boy and girl who was the most faithful and brought the most visitors. Cesar won for the boys and Azul won for the girls.

Through this, we were able to start a youth group that meets every Saturday as well as participates in the services on Sunday. Please pray for the young people who come. Pray they will grow in their faith and share their faith with others!

Also thank you to all who gave for the purchase of more Bibles for our ministry. We were able to obtain about 300 Bibles! God is good! If there is one thing that is going to change the lives of the people here in our community it will be the Word of God! If you would still like to give for the purchase of more Bible we will spend every penny we receive exactly for that!

Dear Praying Friends,

As many of you know we started Bible Clubs about a month and a half ago.

A family in our church was not able to be apart because they temporarily moved back to the city of Guadalajara. Where they are originally from. This family asked if we could help them with material and other things to get Bible Clubs started. Of course, we said YES!

The last Monday of March they had their graduation service with the kids who took part in the Bible Clubs. I was able to go down and take part in the celebration. While I was there I had the honor to share the gospel with two ladies that came up to the house and asked for the "American" to come and share the Gospel with them!

This has opened a great opportunity for us! We are praying about starting a church in the pueblo where the Bible clubs took place. This is a big commitment on our part as we would be traveling to this pueblo (4 hrs) every month. Jorge would be our main contact there and head things up when we are not there.

Please pray with us as we begin planning and praying about starting a church, in La CapillaGuadalajara Mexico! Attached is a video explaining more about this project. Also, please pray God would send a national Pastor here to the church in Zacatecas. Our church in Zacatecas is close to being fully autonomous! Thank you all so much for your prayers and support God bless!

Dear Praying Friends,

This past month my theme song has been "What a Mighty God we serve!" Because He is mighty and answers prayers! What a great God we serve!

We began praying for our residencies on Feb. 1, 2018. As we walk down this path of trying time and time again to get our residencies we faced one attack from Satan after another! Finally, the Lord crossed our path with a couple in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. They offered to help us.

Their church has helped many other missionaries get their residencies in the past so we thought it couldn't hurt to give it a try. To make an extremely long story short we went to San Luis Potosí and after filling out all the proper paperwork and after much prayer we went to immigration. After four hours at immigration, we walked away as permanent residents of Mexico!

This is a huge step for us! Because now a residence we can buy a property and register the church in our name! We can basically do anything a Mexican citizen can do except vote! We are so happy God has allowed us to get this accomplished and now we will be able to do so much more in the ministry without fear of being removed from the country!

Thank you all so much for your prayers! This has been a long process but God is faithful and always answers prayer! We are so grateful for His timing in all of this!!! God bless you all!

Dear Praying Friends,

What a year this has been so far for us in Mexico! If you remember from our last prayer letter we mentioned participating in the Samaritan's Purse. The one-day event we had, has given us the opportunity to start some bible clubs on Saturdays! Every Saturday we have had about 25-30 kids from 5-15 coming and participating in the bible clubs!

I am so proud of our little church stepping up and filling the need for teachers and workers! I can really see the Lord growing our church not only numerically but also spiritually! It makes me so happy to see our folks jumping in and taking part in this ministry!

Please continue to pray with us that this ministry will give us the opportunity to not only reach these children with the Gospel but their parents as well!

Just last week Stephanie and another young lady in our church were visiting and asked a father if his children could come to church. The father was just sitting there watching TV as his children were out gathering trash from all the little stores in order to feed their pigs. He barely gave any attention to Steph and said"Yeah whatever take them."

Sadly this is very common in our area. There are so many children who suffer neglect and need love, compassion, and the truth of the gospel.

Friends, please pray that we will be able to reach this community with the Gospel! God has called us here for a reason and our desire is to see this area saturated with the Gospel!

Thank you all again for all your prayers and faithful support! God bless!

It is a new year and I don't know about you but... I am glad 2020 is over! We are excited to see what God is going to do in 2021! We hope that all of you had a blessed Christmas and New Year!

Ever since we got back to Mexico we have been hitting the ground running! Our church is doing well and we are doing our best to get the Gospel out while trying to obey the laws in our city.

This month has been an amazing one! We were able to participate in the "Samaritans Purse" this year! We received gift boxes to distribute in Zacatecas. We had a full schedule planned with songs, lessons, candy, and of course gifts! We were expecting about 40-50 people to show up. After everyone showed up we had about 140-150 people participating. We even ran out of chairs! People were literally standing to hear the message of the Gospel!

We had so many people we had to move everything outside! We were blown away by how God provided. We had more than doubled what we even thought possible! We were able to share the Gospel with about 150 people in one event! God is amazing!

Please continue to pray the Gospel seed will continue to grow in these hearts and this next year we will see fruit and the ministry grows for the Glory of God!

Thank you all for your continued prayer and support! God bless you all!

Dear Praying Friends,

We pray all of you had a blessed Thanksgiving, and the Lord will bless you this Christmas and New Year season!

Things have been interesting for us since we have been back. It seemed like for the first month, and we were trying to get our feet under ourselves and try to figure things out! It isn't easy at times because our state fluctuates from red to Orange from week to week.

When the state Is in Red, we cannot meet in the church building and do our service via Livestream. We don't have the best setup for this, so we are just making it work with my phone. When the city is in Orange, however, we can all meet at the church. Which is what we prefer, but we know God is in control.

However, even with all these complications, we had a family of 9 finally came and visited us and have been faithful in coming on Sunday evenings! They are someone we have been working on for the past year to go to church! So God continues to bless our faithfulness!

We are just going to keep on keeping on for Jesus. Please know that we are praying for you all there back in the States!

Dear Praying Friends,

We have made it back home! We are so happy to finally be back in Mexico doing the work God has called us to do! We had been away from our church for nine months. Being away so long was difficult for us, but God gave us grace! We give him all the glory!

Thank you all so much for your prayers for our trip back to Zacatecas. We were surprised at how easy it was to come back. We were stopped at the border, but it only lasted for a total of 8 minutes! I honestly believe it was because of your prayers!

Since being back, we have connected with all of our church members, and they are all very anxious to get the church opened back up! We are still trying to figure out all the legal things needed to open back up. However, we have it in motion to get our church registered and with much prayer open before the end of the year!

Until then, we will be doing Livestream on our church's Facebook page and visiting every church member in their home doing mini service with them! Please pray as we continue to seek the Lord's will and as we continue talking to people on the streets about the gospel!

Thank you all for your faithfulness! Your prayers mean so much to us!
